Institution Overview

Introduction

Advance Tertiary College (ATC) was established in 1987 with the intention of providing international education locally. In the course of the last two decades, we have gained a reputation locally and internationally for the conduct of the University of Cambridge A Levels and the University of London Bachelor of Laws degree programme.

What Makes Us Special?

The quality of teaching and learning at ATC is high with the students being taught in an examination centric learning environment. ATC has gained a very strong reputation for ensuring that even students who are traditionally tagged as average have managed to excel and achieve excellent results both in the A Level and University of London Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Business programmes at ATC.

In 2008, the University of London celebrated its 150th anniversary and selected six institutions in the world which were categorised as the best six. ATC was one of the institutions to receive this world class recognition.

Programme Outline

The programmes that are offered at ATC allow students to complete their entire education in Malaysia.

The Certificate in Business Studies programme is geared towards students with basic results in SPM. These individuals who may be interested to pursue a business qualification will be able to enrol for the CBS programme which can be completed in 14 months.

The Diploma in Business with specialisms in Management, Business Administration and Marketing are done by students who have attained a minimum of 5 credits in their SPM.

Facilities

ATC has facilities for teaching and learning in both Kuala Lumpur and Penang, These consist of a variety of lecture halls and tutorial rooms. The facilities also include access to the internet, computer resources as well as a book and journal library.

Student Support Services & Student Development Activities

ATC students are all eligible to become part of the Student Academic Body and participate in a variety of co-curricular activities in sports and intellectual pursuits. Amongst the activities include football, futsal and also a variety of clubs and societies.

In addition, ATC has a growing international student population from many countries in South East Asia and the Middle East with the students enrolled primarily in the degree programmes offered at ATC.

Scholarships are available directly through ATC and students may make online applications for scholarships at www.atc2u.com.

ATC students are also eligible for PTPTN loans and funding support through EPF and bank loans.
