The DASEIN-EXSIM Full Scholarship is a 100% tuition fee waiver offered by Dasein Academy of Art with support from EXSIM Group.

The scholarship is designed to support deserving and well-qualified Malaysian students who wish to pursue their studies in the creative arts. Applicants are expected to demonstrate outstanding academic results and submit a strong art portfolio as part of the scholarship application.

Applications open only once a year. Shortlisted applicants are required to attend an interview with the Dasein Scholarship Committee.

Eligibility / Requirements

Applicants must:

• Be newly enrolled and registered students undertaking Diploma programmes at Dasein Academy of Art.
• Submit actual academic results. Forecast results are not accepted.
• Ensure academic certificates were issued within 3 years prior to joining Dasein Academy of Art.
• Demonstrate strong academic performance and submit an art portfolio.
• Be enrolled as a full-time student and pay the required registration fees.
• Complete the entire course duration.

Key Conditions

• The scholarship applies to the year of admission, not the year of application.
• Scholarship is awarded as tuition fee deduction only and is not a cash award.
• Miscellaneous fees must be paid by the student.
• The scholarship covers only subjects enrolled for the first time.
• Re-sit or re-take subject fees are not covered.
• Recipients must maintain the required GPA:
  • Minimum GPA 3.6 from Year 1 Semester 1 to Year 2 Semester 4.
  • Minimum GPA 3.3 from Year 2 Semester 5 to Year 3 Semester 8.
• Failure to meet the required GPA may result in forfeiture of the scholarship for that semester.
• The scholarship may be terminated if the recipient withdraws, is suspended, terminated, or accepts another scholarship.
