This programme provides extensive clinical training for pharmacy graduates to further their professional careers in a variety of practice settings including hospitals, home health, community pharmacies, managed care systems in the government, and private health agencies.
This professional Master-level postgraduate programme is also designed to produce clinical pharmacists who have the abilities and skills to perform advanced patient medication management, therapeutic planning and monitoring. Upon completion, the students should be able to;
? Apply knowledge and provide pharmaceutical care to patients
? Develop and manage pharmacy specialties, drug therapy process,
medication distribution and control systems
? Provide and promote public health care
? Provide drug information, education and collaborate with patients and
health care providers
Bachelor of Pharmacy Degree with honours
A bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 or equivalent, as accepted by the HEP Senate; OR
Bachelor of Pharmacy Degree with honours
A bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 can be accepted subject to rigorous internal assessment.
