This is a broad-based program that includes six common core units - Accounting 100, Economics 100, Information Services 100, Legal Framework 100, Marketing 100 and Management 100. The first semester of first year is identical to that for the Bachelor of Commerce students. The program includes a range of introductory, functional disciplines, a series of specialised units emphasising on decision-making, human resource issues, international issues and projects, together with minor or elective units.
The degree course is available on a full-time basis. For full-time students, most classes are scheduled in the daytime although evening attendance may be necessary for a few units. Full-time students can complete the degree in a minimum of six semesters over three years.
Students are qualified to work in a wide-range of business settings, both in the public and private sectors. Graduates with work experience will be suitable for positions at middle and senior management level, such as Assistant Manager and Branch Manager.
