Course Overview

This program combines biomedical sciences with traditional Chinese medicine, aiming to produce competent TCM practitioners. The curriculum includes lectures, practical sessions, and small group tutorials. Clinical practice is included at the end to ensure students are industry-ready. MSU’s partnership with Chinese universities enhances the learning experience, and students graduate with the necessary skills to be recognized by the Malaysian TCM Practitioners Board.

Entry Requirements

  • At least 2.5 CGPA at STPM level in Science stream (for non-Science-stream STPM, 2.5 CGPA and a Credit in TWO (2) Science subjects at SPM level);
  • A Full Pass in STPM Pengajian Am (General Studies) and TWO (2) other subjects, plus a Partial Pass in TWO (2) other subjects;
  • TWO (2) Full Passes at A-level;
  • An MSU Diploma in Traditional Chinese Medicine (also with at least 2.5 CGPA);
  • Other equivalent qualifications in a related field and recognized by MSU Senate.
