Cyberjaya College Central’s certificate programme is a four-semester preparatory programme for school-leavers who are looking to pursue their tertiary education in fields such as business, healthcare and information technology.
Our curriculum is thoughtfully designed to encompass basic knowledge across various fields, setting a solid groundwork for specialised study. The programme blends lectures, lab sessions, group work, and tutorials, ensuring a well-rounded educational experience.
While, our graduates would be fully equipped to secure a job in the market, the Certificate in Information Technology also serves students aiming to delve deeper into their academic journey. Students may choose to progress to Cyberjaya College Central’s Diploma in Healthcare or other diploma programmes offered by the University of Cyberjaya.
The assessment structure is balanced, comprising 50% assignments and 50% examinations, to cater to diverse learning styles and ensure a comprehensive evaluation of student capabilities.
By the end of the programme, students not only gain substantial IT knowledge but also develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills, essential in the modern technological landscape.
SPM
Pass with a minimum of 1 credit and pass in Mathematics or equivalent recognised by the Malaysian government and University.
IGCSE
A pass in IGCSE with a minimum of 1 credit and a pass in Mathematics or equivalent.
UEC
A pass in UEC with a minimum of 1 credit and a pass in Mathematics or equivalent.
SKM
SKM Level 2 pass in a related field and a pass in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent.
For International Students Only
Achieve a minimum score of 4.0 in IELTS or equivalent.
The Certificate in Information Technology programme is specifically designed for SPM leavers with a minimum of 1 credit or an equivalent qualification. This certificate provides the foundational skills necessary for roles such as IT support, junior technician, or an entry-level position in computer operations.
Students completing this certificate can seamlessly transition into our Diploma or Degree programmes.
Note: Entry to the University’s Diploma and Undergraduate programmes are dependent on the student’s final results and assessment.
