Entry Requirements

1. STPM – Minimum Grade C+ in 2 relevant subjects
2. A Level – Minimum Grade D in 2 relevant subjects
3. UEC – Grade B in 5 relevant subjects
4. TAR UMT – Foundation in Business with minimum CGPA 2.5000 AND SPM Credit / O Level Grade C in Mathematics### / UEC Grade B in one Mathematics subject### OR relevant Diploma with minimum CGPA 2.5000^
5. Other IHL – Relevant Foundation (minimum CGPA 2.5000) / Diploma (minimum CGPA 2.5000^) accredited by MQA

Compulsory Subjects:

• i. (1), (2), (3) and (5) must include:
  • SPM Credit / O Level Grade C in Mathematics###
  • UEC Grade B in one Mathematics subject###
• ii. (1), (2), (3) and (5) must include:
  • SPM Credit / O Level Grade C / UEC Grade B in English Language***
  • OR MUET Band 3.0 / IELTS Band 4.0 / LINGUASKILL Score 140 / equivalent

Additional Considerations:

• The requirement for a credit in Mathematics at SPM / O Level / UEC may be waived if the applicant possesses higher qualifications with equivalent or higher level Mathematics achievement.
• English Language requirement may be exempted if the applicant’s previous programme was fully conducted in English.

• ### Grade C and above in General Mathematics conducted by TAR UMT is accepted as having fulfilled the Mathematics requirement for applicants with a pass in SPM / Grade D or E (Pass) in O Level / Grade C in UEC in the required Mathematics subject.
• *** Grade C and above in English Language conducted by TAR UMT is accepted as having fulfilled the English Language requirement for applicants with a pass in SPM / Grade D or E (Pass) in O Level / Grade C in UEC in the required English Language subject.
• ^ Graduates from Diploma in Accounting or equivalent with CGPA 2.0001–2.4999 may be admitted subject to passing a rigorous assessment.

Notes:

• a. Students without a credit in SPM Bahasa Melayu are required to pass Bahasa Kebangsaan A before the award of the Bachelor Degree.
• b. TAR UMT Diploma will be accepted on credit transfer into Bachelor Degree programmes.
• c. Equivalent qualifications or qualifications from other Institutions of Higher Learning (IHL) will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
• d. Subject to the Ministry of Education’s latest requirements.
