Course Overview

This programme aims to produce competitive graduates with intellectual, creative and cognitive skills and a strong entrepreneurial spirit necessary for the growing business sector. It seeks to further enhance students’ knowledge and skills in the field of business and analytics, providing a solid grounding in data-driven decision-making for strategic advantage.

Graduates will develop proficiency in data analytics tools, business intelligence systems, and predictive and prescriptive analytics techniques to solve real-world business challenges and support evidence-based management practices.

Entry Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree (Level 6 Malaysian Qualifications Framework, MQF) in related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 as accepted by the HEP Senate; OR
• A Bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) in related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and not meeting CGPA of 2.50 can be accepted, subject to a rigorous internal assessment; OR
• A Bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) in non-related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 as accepted by the HEP Senate and with relevant working experience, subject to a rigorous internal assessment; OR
• A Bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) in non-related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 as accepted by the HEP Senate and without relevant working experience, subject to passing pre-requisite courses; OR
• Other equivalent/related qualifications to a Bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) recognised by the Malaysian Government.

English Language Requirements

• Malaysian Students: MUET Band 4.0 / IELTS Band 6.0 / CEFR Mid B2 / TOEFL iBT 60 / equivalent; OR Exemption of English requirement if the medium of instruction during Bachelor studies was in English.
• International Students: IELTS Band 6.0 / CEFR Mid B2 / TOEFL iBT 60 / equivalent; OR Exemption of English requirement if the medium of instruction during Bachelor studies was in English.
