Course Overview

The Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Electronics (EE241) is a 4-year degree programme in Electronics Engineering. In this programme, students will learn about the fundamentals of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, together with a selection of subjects for different majors: Electronics, Instrumentation, Communications and Computer Engineering.

Entry Requirements

General University Requirement:

Pass SPM level or equivalent with good results

  • Credit in Bahasa Melayu/ Bahasa Malaysia at SPM level or equivalent
  • Malaysian University English Test (MUET) Level 2
  • Not colour blind

STPM:

  • Minimum CGPA of 2.75 and
  • Achieve at least Grade B- (2.67) in any two (2) subjects from the following:
    • Mathematics (T)/Further Mathematics (T)
    • Physics/Biology
    • Chemistry

Matriculation / UiTM Science Foundation / UM Science Foundation

  • Minimum CGPA of 2. 75 and
  • Achieve at least Grade B- (2.67) in any two (2) subjects and Grade C (2.00) in any one (1) subject from the following:
    • Mathematics/Engineering Mathematics
    • Physics/Biology/Engineering Physics
    • Chemistry/Engineering Chemistry

Diploma from UiTM:

  • Diploma in Electrical Engineering from UiTM with a CGPA of 2.5 or
  • Diploma in Electrical Engineering from UiTM with a CGPA of 2.3 and 2 years experience or
  • Diploma in a relevant field from UiTM with a CGPA of 2.75 or
  • Pre-Degree in engineering or equivalent with CGPA 2.75

Diploma from other Institutions:

  • Diploma in Electrical Engineering with a CGPA of 3.00 or
  • Diploma in Electrical Engineering with a CGPA of 2.5 and 2 years experience? or
  • Diploma in a relevant field with a CGPA of 3.00
