This versatile programme provides two distinct paths to a specialisation in Game Development. Students who want to create digital games and unleash their creativity on PC, mobile, and game console platforms can choose between the Game Art and Design path and the Game Programming and Technology path.
The interdisciplinary structure of this programme trains the students in the technical expertise of digital media and game development, in addition to providing them with the fundamental understanding of art and design in the crafting of game designs, the refinement of mathematical proficiencies in programming language, including the development of skills in entrepreneurship and management. This ensures that graduates will be adequately adept as professional game developers with an all-round understanding of both game design, as well as software development.
Thus, in addition to fundamental game art and design expertise, graduates of this course will also be well-versed in programming concepts, data structures, online networking, game graphics programming, virtual and augmented reality. This comprehensively equips them to thrive in the challenging yet rewarding game industry as game creators, programmers and technologist.
STPM A minimum of Grade C in any 2 subjects

SAM Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) 70 and Grade B in any 2 subjects
CPU An average of 70% in any 6 subjects
TVET Diplomas: Diploma Kemahiran Malaysia (DKM) / Diploma Vokasional Malaysia (DVM) / Diploma Lanjutan Kemahiran Malaysia (DLKM): 1. Must be fully accredited by MQA. 2. A minimum CGPA of 2.50 or CGPA 2.00 with at least 2 years working experience in relevant field, subject to Senate / Academic Board’s approval. 3. Applicants will be required to pass the admission screening process conducted by the faculty and undergo the Bridging programme, if necessary, during the period of their study in addition to the existing curriculum structure. 4.
