The Master programme is developed to promote the advancement of knowledge in solving civil engineering problems in general in order to produce a diverse and well-rounded civil engineer. Beside the general core and elective of specialized civil engineering subjects, the programme also offers electives related to management and global trends which could be beneficial to the future career development of graduates. This programme provides indept understanding and advance knowledge and emphasizes on the practical and application aspects so that students are oriented to the industry. Students will be a civil engineer who are enhanced with sub specialty in one of the following fields:-

Academic Requirement |

(1) A Bachelor’s Degree in the field or related fields with CGPA of 2.75 and above or equivalent as approved by the Senate; or (2) A Bachelor’s Degree in the field or related fields with CGPA of 2.00 and above but less than CGPA of 2.75, or equivalent as approved by the Senate subject to rigorous internal assessment. (3) Candidates without a Bachelor’s degree in the related fields or relevant working experience must undergo appropriate prerequisite courses determined by UTAR and meet the minimum CGPA set out in (1) to (2). |
