| (a) A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field with a minimum CGPA of 2.75 or equivalent, as accepted by the HEP’s Senate; or (b) A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or its equivalent, with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 and not meeting CGPA of 2.75, can be accepted subject to rigorous internal assessment; or (c) A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or its equivalent, not meeting CGPA of 2.50, can be accepted subject to a minimum of five (5) years working experience in a relevant field. (d) Candidates without a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or relevant working experience must undergo appropriate prerequisite courses determined by UTAR and meet the minimum CGPA set out in (a) to (c). * five (5) years working or research experience means any working or research experience after obtaining the qualification which period shall also include practical training and any industrial attachment |
